I don't think burning muscle up is a worry as long as your tank isn't empty when you do cardio, you know??? You'll have to bring your body fat down to bring your glute/hamstring in. If you start to lose muscle then you have to up your calories to compensate for the increased cardio, tweak the macros ... Everything's about trying this, wait for results, trying that, wait for results, tweak this and see ... I'm going through something similar myself right now but MY problem is committment level ...
Some of us know what to do and can't stay focused/committed ... some of us have the committment and focus and don't know where to start ... and the great ones have their sh*t totally together
