Why 3 r-ala? I generally use a guideline of 1 r-ala for 30 g of carb. Potatoe isn't more than that. 2 maybe. 3?

I had 3 cups of broccoli, but that's no excuse... thank you for reminding me of the proper dosage

I'm going to Wildfire, my with friend for his birthday. I LOVE the food.

I might get the Bleu Cheese Crusted Steak, potatoes Au gratin, side broc, some form of salad as app.

Or the Teriyaki Chicken...good Cab for sure to savor the flavor :chomp:

I'm with you chickie!! Calves are my least favorite to work...no matter how hard I push them or how little I push them...THEY JUST WON'T GROW!! I always have bad visions of huge muscualar quads sitting on top of chicken legs!!!!

I just would like definition in my calves :( I am frustrated that they always appear big and round, even when I played soccer my entire life with unbelievable quads, the calves never had any definition...

Hi bunny,

Are you generally taking the Glucorell before every meal? Do you find it helps? Right now, I"ve been taking it prior to carb heavy meals, wondering if I should increase my usage. Also, what kind of creatine do you use? Think I'm gonna go supplement shopping tomorrow. I prolly should pick up a multi vitamin too, because I've been so dang tired lately.

Hey girl -
Here are my guidelines and I adjust accordingly day to day:
Ø Levorex or Thermorexin – 1-2 caps 3 times a day, empty stomach before cardio
Ø Glucorell-R with two shakes and post-work out solid meal
Ø Yohimburn lotion 15-20 minutes prior to cardio in the A.M., or weights on non-cardio days
Ø Creatine = 5 g (2x a day) with shake
Ø L-Glutamine = 5 g (2x a day) with shake
***GNC Women’s Mega, 2 caps a day ***

GET THAT MULTI IN! I take 2 b/c that is the serving, one In morning, other usually 12 hours later

The Creatine I currently have is the EAS Advantage Edge HP Creatine Plus, fruit punch flavor... My BF likes to eat it like pixy stix :rolleyes:

NICE....what were you initially?
When I first had my BF done in Nov 04 I was @ 26%.

I honestly think in Dec 04, same guy did it again and although I was lighter on the scale the BF was still 25%.

In Jan 05 when I started this program I waited until I got the calipers I ordered and maybe about 10 days ago I was approx 22.4% - 22.7%

Today same guy got 20.8% at the gym this evening, and he is going to do it for me weekly ... for free ;)

I have a Canon 4 megapixel and it was really inexpensive at Best Buy..less than 300.00

Do you have any tips for me for doing the side laterals. I normally do 5/12 8/12 8/12, and to be honest with ya, I can barely get through the 2nd one of the 2nd set. Are my arms that weak? Out of all exercises that's the one I struggle with the most, with overhead tricep extensions coming in a close 2nd.

Hey girl, I am NOT a fan of side or front lats at all. It's ok to stick with the 5 lbs - you do not have to bump it up to 8 because you think the 5's are 'too light'...

Focus on your form and stick to Shadow's TUT with the 5 lbs. IMO, there's no use in bumping up to 8lbs when your form is compromised and your just rushing through the movements, esp if you end up using your body to swing the weight up. You will hurt more than help yourself...

yep......as a side note


rep range will drop severely next week.....so you can go a bit heavier next week........thisis all about cycling intensity and stimuli in the gym
