Okay, I read Mr. X's Bulking Up Basics articles 1 and 2 (the 3rd didn't interest me) and I was wondering if his entire idea of cycling calories (training and non-training days) is a good idea, or if it's effecient.
Besides that, I want to get on a solid-food bulking diet, because apparently liquid won't get me to grow. I don't know if that's bullshit or not, because I figure if the calories are there, then I'll grow. I heard from Swolecat that it won't activate the digestion/metabolism or something to that effect (don't quote me) but I think that's also bullshit because I obviously digest it, otherwise I'd be dead by now. I searched for articles high and low on info pertaining to that, but couldn't find any.
Anyway, I want to try bulking with little to no liquid (only water, no milk due to the sugary carbs) and wanted to know if you guys could help me put one together. I'm on a fairly tight budget for the next 2 weeks, but as soon as this new job rolls around I should be good! I want to avoid making steak a huge portion of my diet due to its high cost, but ground beef and turkey will work nicely. So, hit me up with some suggestions, if you wouldn't mind.
