It could be an ulcer, but diclofenac could impair your kidney function as well. Get your kidneys tested-my husband had the same symptoms and was told he had an ulcer due to his heart medication. We treated this non existent ulcer for over a month, and it never got better The cramping, nausea, problems in the bathroom, pain in the abdomen, and heart burn like symptoms were actually acute kidney failure.
Tx Trex! Fortunately I have just been for a full check-up and bloodwork 15 weeks ago and all checked out within reasonable values. The GP advised I get off diclofenac and suggested paracetamol as it is softer on the abdomen, however, they are not nearly as effective, so, consequently, I am still on them. Withou them I can barely get out of bed in the morning.
