Another week with no jury trial, yay!
I got stuck with jury duty, we have to call in every Tuesday morning to see if they need to seat a jury for Wednesday. I'm on the hook from November through February. So far every week I've called in there's been no jury trial, except for one week when they already had enough jurors by the time I called in.
My strategy is to always call in as late as possible.

It's not that easy here, we're on the hook for three months. That might get me out of jury selection for one trial, but the next week I'd still have to call in again, and if jurors are needed I'd have to show up for jury selection again.
Still, I've made it half way through the duration of my jury obligation period without having to go to selection. Yet.
