Bicep Training Question

noobie

New member
well anyways its a silly question but here it goes..

The inner part of my bicep is much more developed than the outer part... And Ive tried different excercises to help it grow out, but to no avail..

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for me.. I want to get the most out of my training, so anything would help..

thanks a bunch

I dont think that you can isolate the inner part of your bicep. However, in my opinion certain exercises will help stress the inner part of your biceps more than that outer part and the brachialis. A few good exercises in my opinion for hitting the inner head would be standing wide-grip (wider then shoulder width) barbell curls. Thats a great exercise for hitting the belly of the biceps. Barbell preacher curls with a shoulder width or slightly wider then shoulder width grip will help stress the inner part of the biceps as well. In my opinion, any type of exercise that really focuses on the belly of the muscle (ex. one-dumbbell preacher curls) will help out the inner head, rather than exercises like hammer curls or close-grip curls that stress the outer head more. GOOD LUCK!

well..

Im sorry if there was any confusion..

I was saying the outer part was lagging.. The part furthest away from my body

I see a lot of people get that large vein starting on the outside of their bicep, and anything past that point on the outside doesnt grow at all..

It looks sort of silly...

but sorry for the confusion

yeh u really cannot isolate it, but i agree with monstar completely, spread it out a bit more on the curls and i think it will hit it more... good luck

well then

i guess to work the part im talking about, you would need to hold it near the center of the bar more?
