Hi all .... posting new #s and information and am promising myself not to jump off the building.
my last weigh in was on the 6th at 192#, weigh in on the 14th .... 194# !!!! Ugh ugh!
There is definitely no added muscle weight, as I missed 3 workouts due to a business trip. Used the hotel "gym" for a pretty good cardio session, but they only had dumbells and only up to 25# so did some bi/tri work at really high reps to compensate.
I also feel like I have zero energy. My usual power is missing, as is my stamina. That might be in my head though.
Also went to the endocronologist and got blood test results back:
Thyroid panel TSH: 0.32 (normal is 0.3 - 3.5)
Free T3 118 pg/dl (normal is 120-240 pg/dl)
Thyroid antibody TPOAb present --- indication of Hashimoto disease or cellular resistence to T3 and T4 - no presentation of goiter or enlargement on ultrasound, so possibly cellular resistance, meaning T3 is not activating in cells appropriately
Here is the kicker -- according to doc (who I am about to fire), I need to: EAT LESS AND EXCERCIZE MORE and then I will feel fine. Because, although my numbers are on the absolute lowest side of "normal" if I don't have a goiter, then you can't have low thyroid!!!!!!
He was un-interested in my food log or my excercize log, just its obvious that I am eating too much and not getting enough physical activity.
So now what?
Obviously doctor shopping is on the list .... although I am limited by insurance company as to what I can and cannot do in terms of doctor shopping and having them cover it ....
ladies, (and men) if it were you what would you do?
