I've had success with High protein/High fat/ Low-zero carbs as long as you have something to keep your energy up somehow.... 500 Cals below maintenance. Moderate to heavy weights and a lot of cardio
I disagree with burgers and fries. It depends on your meat and just skip the bun. Fries are great if good oil is used. Although i wouldnt eat them a lot if your cutting carbs. Attention to detail...
