I have a signed copy :D .. wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole! Could be worth something one day.

u serious? how'd u get that?

yeah i got the book, love it. the beginner program kinda blew me away though, seems like overtraining to me but if its working for you go for it. get LOTS of rest after those workouts...

I liked reading it for motivation and not so much a blueprint for training. I also like hearing the stories he tells.

My old roommate gave me his copy when he moved out like 2 1/2 years ago.

I never worked out for real before that but always wanted to get into it. That book helped me out on how to perform excercises for what body part once I did start to actually try.

but I never followed those routines. . .

Ok, I was going to let it slide. I even hit the back button, but, i just can't do it. Don't give me that shit about juice. Granted, one cannont possible attain a pro-caliber physique without it, but it doesn't magically grow muscles even if you're training improperly. Hey, dude, you know what I heard. I heard that if you eat some D-bol and shoot some test you can eat a candy bar and put on 20lbs of muscle. Better than that, you can lift the 20lbs DBs and still weigh 300lbs just because steroids automatically make you big even if you don't know shit about training or diet.

Anyway I bought Arnold Schwarzenegger's New Encyclopedia to modern bodybuilding and so far I am half way done reading. Me and my work out partner last week started using Arnold's begginer level two training program and I was just wondering if anyone else has tried his programs or what they think of them. So far I think they are great and I am seeing some reasults, granted its only been 2 weeks. Anyone let me know what you guys think???

One of the best books I have ever read! But you are exactly right Latimer, I read the stories and exercises for the body part I will be working that night and I can only say SHEER MOTIVATION :smash:

His workout programs in that book willl generally only work for the genetically gifted, juiced to the gills trainee. The workouts are way too many sets.

If some of those routines and diet plans are anything like "The Oak" followed himself....he could of made much better progress by training less and eating/resting more.

Dude, i have learned so much from that book, i would say that it has been the most motivating thing i have read!
great book, and its huge with tons of pics, definently worth the 20 bucks
