Yeah I don't do so well on the pill. I hate being on hormones. I love the IUD (non hormonal). My periods are really light now and only last like 3-4 days. I was pretty heavy before for like 6 days. I love it! Shirlene got the non hormonal too when I told her to go for it. Hopefully she is loving hers as well.

There's a non hormonal one? I did not know that. i've been racking my brain trying to figure out an alternative to hormones besides the obvious gross ones. Diaphragm? Please. *sarcasm*

I got my first late in life (24 yrs old) but now do it regularly, hell yeah its ackward, a woman does mine but I hate it just the same still get it done because I have to.... I do have a damn lump I'm procrastinating into checking.... I was told its bening but I want to biopsy just in case.... Im just scared the whole needle in nipple thing hurts

While I haven't had problems with the pill, I would definitely prefer the non-hormonal way. I'm going to talk to my doctor.

OMG, I know the feeling. On attempt like 100,000 here and only 28 years old. Been through almost every single brand of pills out there and they all don't like me. Had depo- hated me..Had IUD- hated me. Every thing hates me!! IUD worked pretty damn good for me until it began to hate me, seems to be a pattern. They all seem to be some miracle and then all of a sudden everything ends up down hill.

What went wrong with the IUD? Did you have the hormonal one?

Well in order to test what it is they need a smple and this is the only way to extract that sample.... ouch
