It might be because I studied Anatomy & Phys in school, but I find myself hypnotized while doing bicep workouts. I end up just staring at the muscles as they contract rather than paying attention to how many reps I've done. Concentration curls are the worst for me... I concentrate on the wrong thing. Do any other women find themselves doing this?

Not my own but I know what you mean. I love watching people who have good biceps and good form train them, I think that it is a beautiful thing to watch. Maybe because biceps are compact and visible?

~d~, its not a bad thing to not recognize reps...meaning to count....your mind stops you before the muscle goes to failure...when you are out of this "counting" phase, and you wake-up, per se, this is what is commonly referred to as "The Zone"....go there as much as possible when you are working out....
