I agree with the walnut statement by juve. If only they tasted better I would eat them every day.
The point about having a slightly higher monounsaturated content is a moot point really. People make too big of a deal about getting enough monounsaturated fats, considering they are in viturally everything. Even meat tends to have more monounsaturated fat than any other tyep of fat. When you think about it, only milk fat has more saturated fat than monounsatured, and the only other foods that come to mind as having something besides them as their most abundant type of fatty acid would be flax seeds and fish oils.
.... although one may wish to consider the presence of molds and other alergens that tend to be in higher concentrations in peanuts.
