actual muscle growth on clean diet

New member
now i've been taught that for any muscle growth to occur there has to be an abbundance of calories (more calories than your body consumes to mantain).......
but is there any way if i was very slowly losing badyfat that some small muscle growth could occur ( diet high in protein )
this is also on a 5mg dbol (bridge or taper) morning dose......

I personally don't think it is possable without the use of AAS. When off a cycle I would chose one or the other "cut" or bulk" I personally have gained lbm while losing a good deal of body fat but I was using Testosterone-Tren and E/C/A through out. I basically followed a high protein (2g's per pound) mod carbs (bout 125-150/Day) and low fat (only coming from flax oil and salmon) That worked failry well for me but I would never do it again. I belive that when on or off a cycle you should "bulk" only or "cut" only for best results.

thx mustang.....haven't heard from you in a while....good to hear from you......

anyone else?.......just looking for opinions, personal experiences,
and studies so i can look over the data........

Well of course it is possible.

But there are many factors to consider.

You will need to know how much calories your body just needs to gain muscle.

Genetics play a huge role.

Most of the time it is not worth the hassle so people just bulk and cut up.

Personally I stopped doing the bulk/cut up crap and try to gain lean muscle even though it may take longer but hell I maintain a nice look while doing it.

3 choices:

bulking
cutting
maintaining

each has its pros and cons. very difficult if not impossible to shed fat and gain muscle simultaneously.

decided to make a lifestyle of dieting 17 months ago. i'm 5'5", 198 right now. started @220 with over bf near 30. i'm nearing 11% now and have never looked better. it is completely possible, but it takes months to get the exact #'s you need and to find any food sensitivities you may have. i personally am hard as a rock with carbs under 75 and fats over 100, protein never over 260. when i had carbs at 150 to 200 daily i was flat and fat burning ceased.

it takes alot of time and patience, expect a few set backs while experimenting. the thing is, now when i decide to cycle, the results are always optimal and the recovery is very easy because i know what stimulates fat gain and if avoided there is no fat accumulation so recovery is simple.

planning on a very light cycle in 2 weeks to reach my personal best bf, 8%.

Yup, unless you are on a cycle.

thx everyone.......i've just felt leaner and see more definition, clothes are looser, etc........but when i measure my arms, legs, etc are maintaining their size, strength post-cycle only dropped 9%....and i haven't felt sluggish at all.......this is my PERSONAL experience with just 5mgs of d-bol in a.m when i wake up......i feel that i have recovered quicker and maintained more muscle and strength......also it's nice to see my balls back to their regular size.......THX FONZ

All you guys that think it can't be done simoultaneousley need to read up some more and stop re-hashing other board members opinions. Of course it can be done, it's been getting done for decades. Hell i have doen it dozens of times.

The humsn body does not function in Black or white.
