6% BF without Cardio?

if diet is 100% spot on right ratios and calories u shouldn't need cardio

totally false for a large number of people. you are right for a select few who are genetically lean. everyone else requires cardio.

I would imagine that what a lot of people see when they think 6% is more like 9% in reality.

6% BF is gross looking. For competition, it looks fantastic, but to have that leanness is very unnatural and weird looking. I was in vegas and met a few IFBB pros, and this was a few weks before olympia, and let me tell you, the leanness is absolutely amazing, but very freakish looking.

any lower than 8% is too low (for trying to bulid good mass) unless you are going to compete soon.

if your diet is dialed in, you can reach any bf without cardio... personally, id lift and then do cardio after lifting. do whatever works for you, as youve already come a long way!

Sorry, I have to call BS. There is NO WAY IN HELL I can reach 6%bf without cardio. It's just not possible for me. Yes, my diet is spot on as well as my training.

For some guys who are already lean, maybe.

You want to do the cardio AFTER the weights so that you have already burned up all your glycogen (stored carbs) during the weight lifting. This leaves only fat to be burned during the cardio.

I have heard Charles Glass give this exact same explanation.....I would take this as sound advice.

When I had the pic in my av done I think I was ~8%. This was done without cardio. I am sure if I simply increased the no. of sets or cut down rest time between sets, I could have dropped another point or 2.

yea but gettin to 6% at 170 lbs is way easier than maintaining a mass of 240lbs and still be 6% i think there comes a certain weigh when u just cant not do cardio because of all the cals you have to eat to keep the mass
