17 Year old workout log to competition!

I do a variation of 5/3/1 with bodybuilding assistance pretty much standing millitary as the mandatory working up to a big set of 5+ to failure the back off so 5x5 then do a shit load of side and rear delts

Low rep stuff are great but I wouldn't do them too much... especially with shoulders. My shoulders are fine but honestly I know so much guys who have fucked up shoulders from heavy pressing. Many have bad backs and knees but shoulders is probably no.1 I see. Some really heavy stuff is great after plenty of warming up but if it were me I wouldn't go below 10 reps for shoulders. Throw in the occasional really heavy 5-8 reps sets but not too much. I do love training shoulders though. Really abuse those side laterals ;)

The heavy sets are 10+ I don't go very heavy for low reps I just do a all out failure set then do light 5x5 then do probably 30 sets of side and read delts and traps all together. Hitting legs tomorrow would love to be able to post some pics
 
Some recent numbers did 120 dumbbells for 15 15 then 13 on flat. Military pressed 170 for 19 reps

Yea I learned my lesson years ago with that!
I have weight lifters shoulder sucks ass!

Chest days are a struggle and I can't do military press at all!


Dr says it's possible to heal but will actually have to lay off lifting with upper body

And that's not gonna happen or I will go crazy!

I had that I had to rehab it for a long while was very painful
