I am a 21 year old male i just rescently quit smoking and feel a lot better. Now my question is I need to put on some size before summer I have been lifting weights for about 2 years, my diet sucked and i guess i wasnt giving it 100 percent. I was thinking since i quit smoking, slowed down on the caffiene, and ate like a madman I could put on 15-25 pounds of fat and muscle. I am only 165lbs. (ectomorph) You think thats unreasonable?

2001- I went from 165lbs in January to 185 lbs in June, all natural, 9% BF. Yep, you can do it.

Now the chalange is to go from 185 to 205 in the same time, this is were juice comes into play. :)

Eminem - You should be able to gain 15-20 lbs .by summer if you up your daily cals and maybe hit some Creatine.

how many calories were u taking in a day and training schedule? I know its possible its just convincing my body, that is the hard part

eminem i had great sucess during my bulking diet and i was eating around 20 X my bodyweight in calories, split up into 40/40/20 macronutrient breakdown of carbs/protein/fat. you know what kinds of food for each, also for supplements i cycled creatine 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off, getting 5 grams postworkout with my 50g whey and 75 g dextrose.

I'd say 15*body weight is more of a maitanance estimate. You can start there and adjust acordingly depending on if you are gaining or losing. Personally I had success with 20*bw w/ a 40/40/20 p/c/f ratio as well.
