Got a wisdom tooth out today

oh man that sux i remember when i had to have mine taken out, i had to have all 4 out tho all at once, i was out of commission for at least 3 weeks. hope u get better soon
 
I've still never gotten any pulled. My dentist told me a few years ago that I was born without the gene to develop them on either the top or bottom I forget. Either way I'll have half the pain if I ever have to go through with it.

i was doped up on vicodens and drinking everyday trying to kill the pain...didnt realize i was prolonging the healing by drinking...lololol...doc wouldnt give me any more vics so had to deal with sore mouthmore then a month..lolol

I got all of them taken out at once about 9.5 months ago. All I had was local anesthesia. All were out within 10 minutes. I have them in a food saver vacuum bag next to me right now :)
 
I had all four of mine removed when I was 17, before they ever broke the skin. That was some fucked up shit, dude left open holes in the back of my jaws, took weeks to close up.
 
I was in the Army at the time. They pulled the top two (all I had) and sent me back to work...no drugs or nothing.
 
I had both my wisdom teeth on the right side pulled about 3 weeks ago. I was in the dentist office for less than 30 mins all together. I got them pulled at 330pm and was back at work the next day. But the holes are still open and food gets stuck back there... its annoying but they gave me a cool syringe and I just squirt water in there and the food comes out.

Lucky, I get shit all the time, doc had told me its because I didn't floss enough but I can't in some areas. Dentist told me today I need a water based flosser because my molars are too close to each other fml

all 4 of my wisdom teef are impacted. the tops never broke the skin. but, the bottoms have been out for probably 6 years.

everyone talks about how awful the pain is. so, that's why i haven't had them removed. i'm also scared their going to tell me that the bottoms pushed/cracked the molars or other teeth and they'll remove more teeth. :( fawk

maybe you could run a test cycle to prepare yourself for the for the awful surgery and terrible pain you'll have to endure?
 
Or maybe you could stop bein a fookin poosie and just get that shit done

Had all 4 of mine hacked out at once by some Navy renta-a-dentist in a portable building at marine bootcamp, gave me a handful of bullshit ibuprofen and back to training the next day

oh man.... Mine were impacted, had 2 removed on one side when i was 17 the other 2 when i was 24.. the Air Force dentist pulled and pulled, levered and shattered one out, then he had to go get another dentist to pull the other one because his hands were tired/sore... now that's bad ass...
