WTF does this even mean!?!?!

maybe youre right about that and Im only thinking of scores..the thin file thing

and I hear you on the rapidly increasing indebtness thing...but for fastest score increase fico likes to see one installment, two cards and one mortgage...now obviously you're damned if you do and damned if you don't to a degree...if she has NO cards one...even a toy card will help...
but I dont think the car note is a bad idea at all

new shit will drag scoring down on average age of accounts regardless...might as well fuck that all in one shot no? take the inquiry hit and the new accounts all in one shot then let it sit for a yr

If I were nan I would get 1 cc with a $500 limit. Charge only what you can afford to pay off monthly. Save money, do the auto loan I suggested above.

As long as she doesn't default or slow pay on anything she will have a solid credit score with good payment history and will be able to borrow in the future with low rates.

Also, never up your cc limit. Try to get a cc through your local cu if you can. They won't pressure you to always up your limit and some places will just up it for you even if you don't want it.

I see too many people with fucked up credit from credit cards. Remember, if you can't afford it now you can't afford it later.
