Women can be extremely irritating... I prefer rationality and sensibility in anything, and navigating the female's unreliable, irrational, unstructured, unmeritable, unhelpful arousal system is almost offensive in its absurdity.

Lets assume the gay population is nominal. So if there is more single women then men, who are these non-single men seeing? The math is phuct.

In my view, people who are slaves (or are controlled significantly by) their emotional impulses are weak individuals... unfortunately, women typically fit this description, which can make them harder to respect...

I know even as a male it is easier to be a weak thinker and to not think about things, and just respond according to how my emotions are stimulate by various events... but that is an inferior way of behaving...

Most everyone here understands the negative results of acting on emotion... Well, women do this almost as a rule rather than only occasionally in error ... I believe that this behavior can be un-learned and objectivity is possible for women too, but unfortunately women have worked so hard to make criticizing anything female as politically incorrect as criticizing a minority so there is no discussion among women (that I see at least) as to what female behaviors should be avoided and what should be embraced.

Females may be able to deal with strong emotions better since they are more used to dealing with them on a constant basis, but they have to be introduced to the concepts of objectivity and non-emotional decision making just like men do.

women are less dependent on men for protection, since they can rely (more or less) on legislation and civilised behaviour to protect them. furthermore, women can quite easily train in martial arts or weapon use and therefore protect themselves. furthermore, women are increasingly earning as much as men, erodin the idea that men are to be breadwinners in a relationship, and also, women are bearing far less children, making it logistically possible for them to be more independent. overshadowing all of this, too, is the state, helping disadvantaged women (amongst other people) to function individually.

It's a deeper issue with more variables than we've touched on here, I'm just saying that I don't agree with your point. Perhaps it's our sample populations that are contrasted, but I don't see any validity in what you are proposing. Females are more "female" than they've ever been....always wanting relationships, wanting more than most guys are willing to give. To me that speaks of the female's primary need to seek out relationships with males. Your point about women having casual sex, therefore they are acting out a male role is invalid also. In order for a female to have casual sex, a male is having casual sex also......so really there's no basis for your argument.

Whether I profile people "left and right" or not doesn't automatically make me a mindreader. I can take alot from a person's mannerisms and their bodylanguage and I can break down the words that come out of their mouths, take any meaning that might be there, but that still doesn't mean I know all their alterior motives. When a girl shows interests it could be any number of things, but mostly in my case I think it's them wanting attention or casual sex. Short of going up to them and asking them what they want, there's no way I'm going to get a definitive answer.
