Who do you compare yourself to?

When you evaluate your physique, who do you compare yourself to? Pros? Normal people? Other dudes in the gym?

Personally, I compare it to everyone's I suppose. But, mostly, to the pros. I can't possibly consider myself that big knowing that there's dudes who are much bigger. Sure, compared to normal pepole and anyone in my gym I'm a fucking monster, but I know there's guys who are much, much bigger. Therefore, since I'm not the best I'm not anything. I won't be able to be happy until I've become atleast as good as Arnold.

I don't really compare myself or want to compare myself to anyone. I'd rather strive for certain goals within my own head because i know it will be impossible to look like Arnold or most pro's out there. I aim high but not for impossibilities because if i could accomplish that i would be making some serious $$$

Sincerely I compare myself to myself. That is why I make a journal and keep track of what is going on with me and my body. I compare myself to last week, last month and even the last decade. I will never be you or anyone else so why would I strive to look like anyone esle? My goals are to make myself better. If I see improvements I keep working. If I do not see improvements I work even harder.

Do I have people in mind that I think have a physique that I would strive for, yes. But in reality I am me and I will work on being me.

Just about everyone, unfortunately. Not that it's healthy. I just can't help myself. Theoretically, I agree with Milford. The only important comparison is to how I looked last week or last year. But I'm still shooting for the Arnold look.
