For all you people who are "experts" on this subject and in the past month of watching the news you've figured every fucking thing out. let me ask you this. Do you know of the Mardi Gras monument built a few years ago that cost tens of thousands of dollars? yeah they built that instead of using it to fix the levees. They have known about this problem for decades and haven't done what is necessary to fix it. Instead they do a "patch" job, or minor work and hope they will just keep getting lucky, and dodge the big one. Well they didn't get lucky this time. It's their own god damn fault, along with the fed. Gov't and the many presidents before G. W. Bush. So get your head out of your asses and stop trying to blame one person for all of this.
