Which is more important for growth/recovery: FOOD or REST?

I used to have the same problem. I would wake up several times throughout the night to piss. Now, I barely drink any water within an hour of going to bed (maybe a few sips if my mouth is dry) and I only wake up once during the night.

If you train close to bedtime, I'm thinking that would also contribute to the problem, in which case you might want to try and train an hour or two earlier, if possible.

Haaa...I agree!!!! The closer that I get to a contest the stricter my diet gets (although it is backwards from a bodybuilders as I eat and eat and eat). 2.5 weeks out at the moment, sick, high fever, toilet issues. My life is Hell right now. I need to get well but I'll have to REALLY push down the kcals for the next 2 weeks.
