whenever i diet i gain weight b/c im hungry ALL THE TIME. any suggestions?

sounds like you have an eating disorder.....no worries most people do.

if you are a binge eater or just an over eater time your meal. meaning if you get a normal size lunch salad with chicken. look at the clock. take 1 bite every minute and take a min of 20 mins to eat it. i do this at lunch all the time.

i take my chicken with veggies tortilla wrap and eat it in 30 minutes. you'll be surprised how full you feel in 20 mins and the last few bites you almost could go without.

i still suffer from the occasional eat and splash thing. but as long as you don't put pressure on yourself it becomes easier to diet and eat right.

the other night i had the feeling. i ate 10 chef jay's trio plex bars in one sitting. it was bad but i didn't yak it. remember if you get all nervous and you start shaking in the kitchen. just relax and pick something with a few less calories


spegetti squash is a great binge meal. cook it like low carb pasta

also fiber one cereal is good too.
 
people are also suggesting All natural peanut butter..... i would buy almonds (all natural) in the bags and eat them 1 at a time...... like 1 every minute or 30-45 seconds. they are lower in cals that all natural PB. i think 1 jar of natty pb has 2800 calories. i don't know about you guys but i can eat 1 or more a day if i'm in my peanut butter mood

dr0832 thats exactly what im talking about man. i just had a FULL plate of beef and vegetables less than 2 hrs ago and that got me full and im starving right now

I go through a jar of ANPB every 3 days probably, I usually eat a few tbsp between meals. as far as my fat content i dont know, i eat a lot of salmon and nuts

i pop a few caffeine pills a day but thats from a lack of sleep

oxandrin, thats a good idea to eat really slow, the thing is when i do this i never get hungry... i do get that nervous thing every once in a while though, i know what youre talking about

the weird thing is i only get like this when i watch what i eat. i would not be surprised if i had an eating disorder, people have told me that b/c i eat so f'in much, ive had 3 different people tell me i probably have a tape worm in my body, i dont f'in know
 
chicken with lots of brocolli..

chicken with peppers and onions..

eat the amount of chicken you want/need then use low cal high fiber veggies to fill yourself up..
 
Hey OXANDRIN your suggestions are excellent (sorry-system won't let me give you karma again).

I thought I was the only binge-eater that was able to eat 10 bars at one sitting. I've recovered more or less now. A binge now is most in the range of 1200 cals as opposed to 6000-12000 before! I'm getting Pondimin for my next diet i've heard it blunts the hunger completely.
 
my meals take time to prepare so i damn well appreciate it when i get to grub out........

one thing i have found to help is to make it like a favorite meal.

for example, i love chicken fried rice.

so i cook 1 cup of frozen veggies, 1 cup of rice, and 2 chicken breast.

then when they are all done, i toss them all together and grub out like a fiend.

this meal takes about 20 minutes to prepare, so i make it worth my time

I've seperated my meals to 6 equal ones and i eat alot less than before...So my body is adapted to consume small amounts of food at a time. And when i binge i eat at about 500-1000 calories. And everytime my stomach gets bloated and starts hurting like a bitch. It's funny that even though this occurs i still binge on and off
 
it's mental warfare man.

you just have to do your best to win every battle, whether it be through rationalization, lying to yourself, drinking 2 gallons of water to make your stomach shut the hell up, going for a quick jog, reading inspirational material, whatever it takes.

all of those worked for me, especially the rationalization aspect -- i would ask myself whether or not i would be happy if i ate that and if i did, would it be a step towards looking and feeling how i wanted.

this is some great advice,so I can actually eat,just one bite per minute..this could really work for...though my most difficult discipline is refraining from nighttime eating..i.e. waking up and eating throuhgout the night
