whenever i diet i gain weight b/c im hungry ALL THE TIME. any suggestions?

For example, I just had 2 chicken breasts and a potatoe for dinner and its less than 1 hour later and IM STARVING. And now for the rest of the evening I can't have any carbs!! For the most part I try to separate carbs and fats, when I do this I'm hungry constantly so I eat all the time and I end up gaining weight... What is some shit that really fills you up thats ok to eat at night? I would say at any point in the day, I can't go more than 2 hours after a meal without being hungry. The only shit that seems to fill me up is if I go to BK and supersize a double wopper or eat a pizza. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated
 
celery is low cal, you can snack on that until your sick. Anything with lots of fiber will fill you up, all natural peanut butter for example. Try not to get any of your calories from liquid sources like protein shakes, meat will fill you up more than a shake. Drink lots of water to keep your stomach full.
 
Drink lots of water, when you eat carbs make sure they have a lot of fiber, and if you want a chemical route, caffeine stacks tend to blunt my hunger but once I am off them I am twice as hungry as normal.

On a side note I get hungrier right after eating chicken breast as well. WHats up with that?
 
Suggestion:
Use your will power, no diet works without it :o
Generally when on a diet try finding something to do with your time, be more active. Substitute a hobby, sports, going out, reading, etc for food - once you stop thinking about it, you're on :martini:
 
well I know what your saying. I can eat good size meal like 2 chicken breasts, a large sweet potatoe, and some other stuff, and in less the 2 hours I will start to feel hungry. If I wait 2.5 hours before eating I will get this feeling of extreme hunger, sort of like a pain somewhere in my midsection, and as time goes on it will intensify. I get this real bad in the morning as well after not eating for 8 hours if I eat a good size amount before I go to bed. I also eat filling stuff but I am bulking now. When I cut in a week I don;t know how I am gonna handle it.

I have will power Juve but this is not a good feeling to have and understand what hes saying.
 
Whats your fat intake like?

I find that a spoonful or two of ANPB usually quiets down my cravings. As far as being hungry after 2 hours, it should be natural since most of us have conditioned ourselves to eat every 2-3 hours, your body is expecting it.

Caffeine also works wonders.
