ive tried so many diets over the years, and for some reason, no matter what i do, if i eat as soon as i get up my hunger becomes ravenous throughout the day, its veeeeerrrry bad...but when i tried the warrior diet where you barely eat throughout the day and only finish up with a big meal before bed, i end up not being hungry during the day...do i have some type of diabetes or something? i barely ever eat carbs, maybe only once a week so it cant be insulin from high GI carbs

Well that definitely does sound a bit weird if you don't eat any carbs.

I too get hungry for all day if I eat in the morning, but that's only if I eat carbs. Few eggs in the morning and I'm not hungry at all for the whole day... Can't say if you have diabetes or what causes your problem, but it definitely sounds unusual.

could have to do with insulin/blood sugar levels, not eating carbs in the morning will create very low blood sugar levels throughout the day due to you being depleted in glycogen, then you eat a big meal at night and go to sleep, during that sleep your body burns glycogen as fuel(glycogen is the brain's primary energy source) so when you wake up your glycogen levels are still low and will deplete steadily(low insulin) throughout the day
i did kind of kno this cause when i get blood tests my blood gluc level is always extremely below the avg baseline, but how exactly does this affect my hunger?

ok.....someone has to have a concrete reason for this because I HAVE had my sugar looked at a 100 different way.....ok not that many..
but I have the same problem...if i eat breakfast (and it can be straight up eggs nothing else not even seasoned in anyway) and I will over eat all day plus still face my usual problem of night time sugar or carb craving...

I will also completely crash and want to go back to sleep if I eat in the morning again no matter the macros
this has really screwed me up in sticking to any sort of diet....

off to read up on this warrior diet thing

Not eating anything all day and then eating a big meal before you sleep sounds like disaster. If you're hungry all the time then EAT. Just eat low calorie bad tasting food and I bet you will lose that urge to constantly eat.

Whenever you're hungry chew on some celery or carrots, eat some baked potatoes or lean turkey or chicken breasts boiled in water with no salt.

There is nothing wrong with being hungry all the time, and there is nothing wrong with eating all the time. Just make sure when you're stuffing your face you're not stuffing it with donuts and burgers and chilicheese fries.

first off before you say that having one big meal before bed is a recipe for disaster, take a look at the guy who created the warrior diet, guy is shredded at like 50yrs old...secondly, when your saiety level never ends, and youve just downed 13 large cucumbers, tons of fiber, and 4lbs of edamame, and your STILL FUCKIN HUNGRY! you need to start looking into other avenues...

You guys obviously dont know what the Warrior diet is. You have a fast LIKE MANY DO at the last meal of the day until a couple hours AFTER you wake up. That is not that weird. You have some 15-30 grams of protein and 10-20 grams of carbs per meal during the day. Then you end the meal with a healthy LARGE final meal.

Thanks for that future, I researched this a little bit and it seems to be how I eat naturally....

Im actually going on a very low cal for a few days to clean up my sugar/starch habits...(medically supervised because my sugar is wacked)

a clock reset if you will, and going with the warrior diet timing afterwards, because it seems to fit in with my natural rythm anyway.

I really appreciate all or your and tammis info when you post it :)
