What kind of shoes do you squat/deadlift in?

I'd like to try out chucks one day, but can't see em here for sale in Sydney.

go to Rabens footwear. There are 2 or 3 in the city. Last time i was up i bought a pair of "vagabonds". ( i think it was the store closest to the interstate bit of the city railway station)

they are cheap (15 aus) chuck rip offs. they had wrestling shoes, other chucks, low cuts, high cuts, one star ripoffs.

you will save 30-40 bucks.

its just a piece of material and a bit of rubber....no need to go for the real thing.

also i think they have real chucks too......mainly factory seconds (colour problems usually)

and no cool col...they are not ugly (although i am buying adidas shoes in a month or two).

powerlifting style squats...i use vagabonds (cheap chuck rip offs) and i deadlift in them too

I might try the PwoerFirm shoes next, my Ironworks are worn to the wood at the back - time to resole!
