What kind of gloves do you use...

never used any, I never thought they were necessary

Never used them until about two months ago.

When I stopped using straps my calusses were becoming very painful when doing any pulling exercises.

I bought a pair of nike gloves from modells. They were like 15 bucks.

I use Titan gloves. These things are super padded, go very tight with the hand, has a wrist strap, and does not impair movement at all. I love them.

I like the calouses that get left on my hands, I regularily work up to well over 500lbs for reps on the deadlift, and although my hands get a little tender, it's no big deal. I'm a social worker, so I love the look on people's faces when I go to a case conference and have to shake hands..

I have the Nike gloves too...they wear well, don't fall apart in the washer, well padded but not over-padded to the point where you can't feel the bar. I have enough problems with my hands drying out and cracking (bleeding sometimes in the winter if I forget to wear gloves) to put up with calluses, etc. Call me a wussie if you will...

That takes all the fun out of it when you say we can call you one....
