What kind of gains have you made??

I think this could be a hugely motivational thread to a lot of people (me included).

How long have you been lifting, how much bodyweight have you gained, how much have certain lifts of yours gone up?

I've only been lifting about 6 months, I've put on 25 lbs and my bf % has probably gone up 2-3%.

Upright row up at 25-30 lbs.
DB bench press up 15 lbs
barbell curls up 25 lbs
lat pulldowns up 50 lbs :eek: ( have trouble believing this but thats what my log says)

The rest of my routine has totally changed so I dont have numbers for deads and squats from when I started.
 
well the past 6 months or more i am almost 2 times as fast in my 4 mile than i was 6 months ago. ive been running hard and doing the stair climber. i believe when i first started my 4 mile run i was running it in over 42 minites or so. low im running damn near a 26 minite 4 mile!!!!!!!

other than that i dont really pay attention to how much weight i throw up because im not a strength athlete. latley ive been going for more of the "pump" or trying to really "feel" the excersise stimulating my muscles. i think if ur a bodybuilder and just look at poundages and not concentrating in feeling the excersise working then your missin the point. thats just my opinion though.

ive also definitly dropped my bodyfat and perhaps gained some muscle too in the past 6 months especially in my back and abdominals and really increased my quad definition

those are some serios gains by the way congradulations. 25 pounds is awesome, whats your routine?
 
i've been lifting for about 4 1/2 years, i've lost 10% bodyfat yet gained 80 pounds
 
jeremy u hit puberty in those years.......i have seen your pics and your a huge 15 year old awesome lifts for a 15 year old too. you doing any cardio yet?
 
thanks man. yeah, that probably explains my gains.

the only cardio i plan on doing, even if i cut for a contest when i'm 18-19 would be sprints. that way i can lose some fat and hopefully maintain almost all my mass

i'm going to do 4 long sprints once a week from now on
 
well, not short ones. lol

i'm just going to mark out some distance on my driveway(it's 1/4 mile long) and just go back and forth
 
i would recomend sinse u dont want to do too much cardio.....you should do 1 mile everyday and try to get better everyday

4 quater mile sprints once a week is nothing bro
