what is the heaviest credit load you ever took in college?

I did 18 in a 5 week summer session but it was the same: grad and undergrad at the same time. I had a wife and 6 month old kid and i sent them home to her mother for the whole 5 weeks and basically just ate speed and went to class and studied for the whole time. It really sucked but it was the only way I could get my stipend the next semester and I needed it so my wife could stay at home with the baby while I was in grad school. The postscript is that I got divorced in my 2nd semester of grad school!
Wasn't mixing undergrad and grad courses the suck? They work so differently that you never really get into the groove of either. Graduate classes are generally so free-form and student-driven whereas the undergraduate stuff was so metered and regimented. And it's not to say one type is harder than the other, but the two just don't mix well.

And sorry to hear about the divorce too... those things suck!

Yep......I was taking an undergrad Research course and a grad Statistics course (prerequisite for grad Research) at the same time (Social Work major for both). I was completely lost but luckily summer courses are a gimme if you work a little and show up every day. :)

17 units

I will not usually take more than 14 at a time.

Lifting is a priority, it will not fall back to school.

Plus I'm in engineering, 14 units of engineering = 17-18 units of business or other mickey mouse majors.
