What does your gym lack?

95% of my gym is filled with idiots doing nothing but chest and arms and WE ONLY HAVE ONE CURL BAR?!?!?!? So you could imagine the use that thing gets. Can anybody tell me why the fuck I work out at the YMCA?

Another good addition to a gym would be a few tool cd's. Throw in some Ac/dc and Led Zeppelin. Try to get digital music express or something like that instead of radio stations, which are annoying. DO NOT play any music featuring Nelly, Janet Jackson, Eminem, Spice girls, Puff Daddy......

DO PLAY Bush, Aerosmith, AC/dc, Led Zeppelin, Tool, Kiss, Radiohead, Redhot chilipeppers, etc.!

I workout here at the University and there's no fucking power rack for squatting, errrrrr gets me ticked!!!!!!!

A leg press without the preset weights that you insert a pin. Some bros just do the leg press here on a smith machine and if that shit falls on you if you're doing 800lbs + it's real dangerous.

I definetely agree with post workout nutrition.

Yeah I've been wondering the same thing, oh wait...its the only gym I'm old enough to get a membership at...the YMCA I work out at fucking sucks.

My gym lacks some hardcore strong men. A lot of mediocre and advanced lifters (myself included) - but only 2 or 3 really tough lifters who can squat 600lb, bench 400lb, etc.

hardgainer (not so hardcore)

ithink everyone so far has drilled into you that you need plenty of power racks! also get a barbell shoulder press rack so guys doing shoulders don't take up those power racks that you're gonna get.

and for some reason, my current gym is the first i've been to that has 35lb plates -- all others jumped from 25 to 45. the 35 lb plates make everything so much easier (and i feel stronger changing to a 35 than i do when adding a dinky 10lb plate!)

and how about plenty of room for stretching???

good luck with it, man!

My gym lacks A/C, which may be a leading factor as for why I have been in the hospital a few times this summer for severe dehydration....I'll get over it :)
