What does your gym lack?

Other than the usual power equipment & basic necessities, a standing leg curl would be a good addition.. never see many of those in a gym

and a place to do pull-ups other than the bar in the middle of the cable station... feel like I'm in everyone's way there

level, not slanted, hyper extension benches are good to have also

if you can afford them, a rack of pre-loaded straight or ez curl bars

and a separate women's room for the '5lb dumbbell syndrome lovers'

just a few ideas...:)

My gym lacks benches, sucks on a crowded night, also there is only one squat rack and barely any room to do deadlifts... grrrr

I like the idea of a protein bar though.

I would suggest a power rack or TWO. space to perform straight bar lunges and deads. also, bars/stations where you can do hanging knee/leg raises, and /or pull/chin ups instead of the bar on the cable system as noted above. maybe two cable systems as well. its nice to have more and not need it than have less and really need it, especially on a BUSY ass day. me being a novice compared to the members of this board, I do exercises that most people in my gym don't do (ie SQUATS, WIDE GRIP CHINS), I think having this kind and much equipment you will gain loyalty to your gym.

I need the following
better power rack
2 new bars
500lbs more of 45's
reverse hyper
glute ham machine
low pulley row
set of atlas stones
super yoke

Sounds about like all I need to add right now.

Definately what a gym needs..............a place for good post workout nutrition......alot of gyms lack that. I think that every gym should sell whey, meal replacements, energy drinks and stuff like protein bars and flapjacks.Keep it in mind bro.

Like many of the responses so far, more than 1 power rack. Also, better variety of music...can't take club music every day.
