Westside routines

Just out of curiosity I was wondering what some of your routines for dyn. bench look like. I noticed pljay said he doesn't do speed benches, so what do you do? How much do you guys do for upper back, my bench has been sticking about 6" of my chest and I'm pretty sure it's my back strength. Also, how much do you guys do for tri's? Good luck to all the lifters competing this weekend.

Rows are crucial for your bench.

If you're getting stuck of your chest, do more rows and do speedwork.

I can't help you in terms of volume, I've only experimented with WS so far.

IMHO...

What up Big Okie?

If your sticking point is 6" off of your chest then your upper back and lats are not your weakness. The fact that you have a 6" push off of your chest means your upper back and lats are not the weak link. You need to work on speed, speed, speed. Anterior delt strength and triceps strength along with speed work are going to eliminate your sticking point. Try working 3 & 4 boards with bands and chains. Push the weight as explosively as you can and your sticking point (at your current weight) will disappear. Good luck!
