I think my squat problem is 90% mental and 10% technical.
Like this weekend when we benched, I had no trouble going for broke because I had 3 spotters and 2 handlers, and I knew I'd be ok. Because of that, I ended up 60 pounds higher than I thought. I wonder what I would do if I felt that secure with my squat. If I knew I wasn't going to pin my skull to the floor, I bet I wouldn't be so timid. I've just had too many close calls with ME squat attempts, and it's all in my head now.
