Hey, i get this weird feeling in my left wrist when doing curls it usually happens just after i start curling feels like im being shocked kind of freeks me out a little. Ive never broke a bone or that so has anyone eles had this or know what it is?

The only thing I can think of would be a nerve. But I have little chiropractic experience so not so sure.

Complaining wont make you look good naked!

Do you keep your wrists locked as you curl? Same on bench press etx?
When I first started training had similar problems but now I don't get that sort of shit make sure every exercise your wrists are kept straight.

I do keep my wrists locked, i spoke to someone in the gym they didnt what it was either but says they used to get it but it went away after a while.

There's a carpal tunnel that's full of nerves in your wrist that comes into the bottom part of the palm. When weight or strain continually press there the tissue swells and puts pressure on the nerves in the carpal tunnel. That could be your issue. Also you have a bundle of nerves in your elbow near the "funny bone". When those get irritated the same effects take place. The carpal tunnel affect the first 3 fingers (thumb, index and middle) the elbow effects the left side of the hand (ring, pinky and left side of palm). Nerves are controlled by electricity believe it or not hence the shocking feeling. It could also be a ligament, nerve or vein rolling or moving over other tissue. If it pursuits then see you dr.

i've gotten something like that before....its like a burning on the top of the wrist, palm side? i just shift the angle on my grip and it goes away. I always thought it was a nerve. i hadn't felt in years tho.
try curling ur grip in towards ur forearms slightly. that's what made the pain i'm talking about go away.

sounds like nerve compression. i have it in my right hip and has caused numbing on the lower right quadrant of my thigh for a few years now and will burn up bad if my IT band is tight or unstretched. get it checked out.

Thanks for advice and help, i shouldve mentioned it kind of runs up my forearm a little aswell if im at the docs anytime ill see what he says
