You might want to try looping the bands around a set of heavy dumbells and putting them on the floor. I do this for all of my mini band work. If you have round dumbells, you can lay a second dumbell across the first one to keep it from rolling on the floor.
Thats a good idea. I use a dumbell to anchor down the mini's too.
I put a 25 pound plate flate on the floor-
one 25 plate in front of the dumbell and one 25 lb plate behind the dumbell so the dumbell doesnt move at all
