PS3 has 8 cpu's. Yup, 8 individual processors built into one, designed by IBM, Toshiba, and Sony. High end PCs have two, so....there you go. I think the reason people like pc for games so much is because they do everything else on it, so a certain fondness develops, a bond if you will. I felt that way a little bit years ago when I loaded up the Doom games and Hexen and Heretic. Those were awesome games, but overall imo a console has the most playability with the gaming experience honed to perfection, with none of the bs. Playing Zelda, Mario, Castlevania, Tony Hawk, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, etc on a pc just wouldn't be the same. That's the reason consoles are developed, because they wouldn't play the same or as good on a pc.
IMO consoles are better because not every game for a pc that you like is compatable..or it has lags and it takes long to load...plus sitting in a comp chair playing games sucks..with a console you know that the games will work on them and there is no lags..you can also get a wireless remote and lounge on the couch to play
