uneven arms...will juice help?

Hey guys,

Ever since I started training, my left arm has always been weaker and smaller. At first it was about an inch smaller, now, after a few years, it is just under a half inch smaller. About 5 years ago (before I started training regularly), I had broken my left arm really badly and Im guessing it might have something to do with that. After the bone healed, my left arm never felt 100%. Anyway, my question is this...Im gonna be starting my first cycle soon and I was wondering if the cycle will help help speed up the evening process. I know that if you train both arms evenly, eventually they should come to the same size. So im thinking, will the cycle speed up this process at all? I just hope my right arm doesnt hog all the juice.

Give up the barbells on your arm days and use dumbbells as much as possible. That should help correct the imbalance as each arm will be forced to do equal workloads.

I havent been using the barbell at all for the past few months. Ive been strictly dumbells. Its just really strange because sometimes both my arms can do the same amount of reps, but my right arm just feels alot better while doing them. My left arm gets the weight up, but it feels like its gonna snap in the process.

Sorry but I don't think juice will help balance any bilateral discrepancies to any large extent.

I had a similar problem and the only thing the helped out moderatly was to begin and finish each set with the weaker arm, assuming your working until total failure. Like i said it wasnt the ultimate answer but it did help...BTW - Most poeple ussualy have the lead arm a bit more developed than the other.

Mine are off by about 1/4", do more reps with the smaller arm for awhile and see how that works out.

The obvious answer is to use dumbells for everything.

Exactly.

And the best way to balance size is to do your weak arm first... and then only do the same number of reps with your strong arm.

i.e., If you max out at 8 reps curling 50lbs dumbbells with your weak arm... only do 8 reps with your strong arm... even if you could do more.
