Trying out Nublend 7

Hurricane was kind enough to send me the banana flavor to try out (thanks).

I didn't know much about it before the package arrived, so I was interested to see it is a blend of 7 different proteins. That's different than what I'm used to. I like to see that it has some egg white protein in it, along with with whey, casein,milk protein, glutamine, etc. Nice.

I happened to have a little bit of WTBM banana flavor left over so I decided to start with a head to head comparison.

The Nublend seemed to have a stronger banana aroma. Smells really good!

Mixing, they are both about equal. I mixed with water using a spoon, and they both disperse easily and quickly.

Taste wise, both really good. I think the WTBM was a bit sweeter, and the Nublend is a bit creamier.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to running through this jug!
 
Today I mixed up some of my banana nublend with coconut flavored yogurt, a banana, ice, and a little water. Tastes like a pina colada. Delicious!
 
This morning my breakfast shake was vanilla greek yogurt, blueberrys, strawberrys, banana Nublend, and a little water and ice.
Good stuff.

My gym is right next to work so I work out during lunch, and have been using the Nublend for my after workout protein. 2 scoops mixes up nicely in water using just a spoon; no clumps or floaties. And it is surprisingly creamy for being mixed with water.
 
I think you will like it.

I'm whipping up a shake right now. Vanilla greek yogurt, a banana, banana Nublend, water and ice.

It will give me some motivation to mow the lawn :(
 
how is your weight situation?

That's a good question. I've been trying to lean out and I've been doing 2 servings a day with the Nublend, and it seems like it is a good appetite suppressant. I've been traveling the last few days and its great to have on the road to keep a healthy diet and not get tempted by all the crappy food out there.

So I've lost a few pounds and it seems like more servings of protein during the day helps with that, to stay anabolic and moderate my appetite.

I'm running low on banana. I'll probably try chocolate next time.
 
I like mixing 1 scoop banana and 1 scoop chocolate in Almond Milk before bed...I like protein blends better than just plain whey.
 
My pre-workout meal is typically 1 cup cooked oats, Almond Milk mixed with 2-3 scoops NuBlend Banana...poured into oats, with a handful of cranberries or sliced banana on top. Whatever is left of the NuBlend shake I consume as well with all my PWO supplements...but those pancakes above look really good!
