To bodybuild or not when you in a huge debt?

So guys.. i need your advice, what would you do? im in 6500£ in debt (equivalent of 6700).. the thing is time ago ive had an alcohol problem (due to depression) i earn about 1700£ a month, (army) and i worked it out.. i could pay off my debt like in 6 month, but then it comes to taking care of your body.. supplements and food. with all of that i spend 450-500 a month, including gym membership.. but i think i would save money by half if i didnt bodybuild, but now already i have made decent gains, and im worried instead of eating decent food ill buy junkfood which is more expensive. I just dont know what to do. what would you guys do if you were in my situation

Eat clean and continue to train till you can afford supplements. You will live for 6 months with no supps. Oh and stop being a pussy, that will save you like 150 bucks a month on femanine products.

I know this might come accross as ''newb'' question, but although im new to bodybuilding, (well taking it seriously anyway) without supplements, is it possible to make decent gains, when you bulking? or is extra food enough for muscle repair to grow?

of course lots of clean food is enough to make gains, especially if you're new to bodybuilding and you're not carrying a lot of muscle now

naturally you can easily train to 150% of your body weight in a bench..

300% in a leg press/squat..

so can you do that?? if no, then you are still good to grow..

um, just so you know, we don't really work out in chat, so, yeah

You can stay in great shape without a gym membership. Buy a few dumbbells, get a mountain bike, find a place to do pull-ups, get an exercise ball and do push-ups with your feet on it, do wall push-ups, etc. Gyms are great for fine tuning if you're competing but otherwise not needed.

Mountain bike: ~500.00
Pull up bar: ~ 25.00
Exercise ball: ~ 40.00
Dumbbells: ~ 100.00

Defeats the purpose, no?
