Hey ladies...hope all is well! I've finally got back into the swing of things since my competition(Nov) and the whole Xmas/New Years stuff.
Since my show I've put on a bit of unwanted weight...i can deal with not being "ripped" but this flabby look is so not cool..LOL
I know there a big mental aspect to how one reacts to their body changing after a show but this is unreal.
I've gone back to clean eating this past week and feel ALOT better but have been considering doing another show this May. So my question is : Is it too soon to go "hardcore" dieting again? and what about doing another cycle (winny)? i'd really like to do this show but am a little concerned about using something again so soon. BTW, this will only be my 2nd cycle
any feedback ladies

I am in pretty much the same situation. Came off my cycle last November (first cycle), getting ready to hit it hard again for competition. My advice is don't immediatly go into a super strict low calorie precompetition diet. I find when I do that after eating like a "normal person" I can't stick to it. Instead ease yourself into it. Start out with a solid clean diet and every other week make it even cleaner until it gradually resembles your precompetition diet. If your precomp. diet is for 12 weeks then add 6 or so weeks to that to get broken back in. That way your more likely to stick to it. Your body needs time to readjust to not training as hard as you did when you were competiting and on AS.

Now I'm back in the gym, have these huge muscles (from AS) and yet lift very light weights as if they were super heavy! I'm just not yet in the superb shape I was in. Or as strong as when on AS. That's a huge mental aspect which I find to be frustrating, so be aware you may feel like that too.

As for if you should do another cycle. My advice is wait the recommended time in between (4-6 mos+). It's when you don't wait that you'll start to get really bad sides and over years of always being "on" organs get damaged and it's then you hear of people dying and all the horror stories.

I'm not sure what you took on your cycle. But in general the heavier the gear the longer you should let it get out of your system. I did 12 weeks of Primo and Winny injections and twords the end my voice started to get a little crackly. Even up to a month after the cycle I had a hard time controlling the various pitches my voice would kinda crackle into. It took about 2.5 mos for it to go back to normal 100%. I have no bad sides to report and feel very happy I took the leap into doing AS. Would I do it again? No. I got what I wanted from it.

In my opinion the less AS the better. My plan worked for me, do a good cycle, gain great mass, get ripped again slowly (AS free) and be happy enough to not have to do it again.

It all depends on what you want. Continually doing AS to maintain the mass you have while dieting for a show seems like a never ending cycle, or one that ends in health problems. If you diet right and not too fast you won't loose much mass.

Hope this helps. But also keep in mind that what works for me could not work for you or someone else. You have to figure out your own body over time.
