Stretches For The Elbow

Liberator

New member
I KNOW THERE ARE SPECIFIC EXERCISES WHICH FOCUS ON THE ELBOW AREA, DOES ANYONE HAVE A LINK TO THESE OR CAN DESCRIBE THEM?

THANKS

I'm no doctor, but I don't think you can stretch an elbow.

Lib,what are you looking for? Assuming you're not asking how to get muscular elbows, are you feeling sore in that area? What's up?

Sorry I meant that region

My left elbow has got like toothache in it, it doesnt hurt, it just aches on the inside, I think it might be skulls that did it in the first place while certain other exercises seems to aggrevate it and bring the ache back, I was wondering if there was a way of somehow stretching that area or stimulating it somehow, I have heard that there are special exercises for it, but I cant find them

Hmmmm, that's a tough one. Advising folks on aches and pains is out of my area, but I can at least share a little experience.

I've felt similar aches in my elbow, which I assume is a little tendinitis. Might be the same for you. I don't really feel it much doing tri work, but i definitely feel it doing any kind of curls.

I'll probably get run out of town for this, but all I've done for it is sort of workout through the pain and it seems to be going away by itself, slowly but surely. I'm not necessarily recommending you do that, especially if it gets any worse for you. But if it stays mild, it might be temporary.

Wait a bit and see what some of the others tell you.

I know what your saying, its kind of between a sore and an ache if that makes sense

It ached alot yesterday on shoulder day

I was thinking of strapping it and avoiding skulls for a while and using the EZ bar for curls to see if it goes away

Does anyone else here strap there elbows?

Does it help???????????????

I think if you do skulls at a bad angle, I.e when you extend your arms fully, they are purely vertical as opposed to a more 45 degree angle, this is bad for the joint too as it has to do most of the work

I did it this way early on and this may have caused it

this might be of some help for streching your elbow.

im recovering from a broken arm and since I havent moved my arm in 3 months it got stiff very stiff. so my doctor said to sit on the couch for 35-45min with your arm extended over the arm rest while holding a plastic bag with a few shoes in it or something that weighed about 3-4lbs. and wow u'll feel the strech after about 5min.

so far its working great for me, hope this helps???

Thanks man, I was willing to try anything

Its starting to go away now anyway thankfully, slowly

I just starrted using the EZ bar for a while for tris/bis
