Natural Organic Peanut Butter, 1 apple, and 6oz Greek Yogurt, 1 Ezekiel Muffin…this really never changes as you can see, my favorite meal of the day!!!
3:00 PM: N2 Bulk w/ 2 cups Almond Milk, 1 apple
6:00 PM: Ground Turkey, yams, broccoli, zucchini, red bell peppers, and onions, 2 cups Brown Rice…actually had 2 servings of this I was so hungry!!!!
9:00 PM: Same as 3 PM…and a Greek Yogurt, was at my mom’s place!!!
Mood/Feeling:
Mom was discharged out of the hospital today in the afternoon, but was able to get a workout in due to my wife being the fucking awesome woman she is! We both took my little girl to school and then she went running with her girlfriend since she is supposed to be training for a mini triathlon the second weekend of October, but due to all of this going on her training has suffered a bit as well…and I went to the gym while she ran.
My left Tricep tendon/ligament was really bugging me today which is why my weights suffered a bit today. I used my compression sleeve for my elbow, but it still wasn’t feeling it…and the feeling I had was that I would make it worse if I pushed too hard, so just backed off of it a bit, stayed smart, and just was blessed that I was able to push some weights today!
We picked up my mom from the hospital around 3 pm after we had a session with her physical therapist, and got her into the comfort of her own bed. She was pretty worn out, so after making us all a healthy home cooked meal, giving her meds, my wife and daughter went home and I stayed at my mom’s for the night until my nephew came over in the morning so I could go and get my daughter from home so my wife could go to work at 6:45 am. This day was a better day than the previous three days due to I was able to train, so my mood was better and I had a better sense of wellbeing due to I wasn’t feeling like I was wasting my cycle for three days…but life throws us curve balls once in a while, and we have to live our life for others rather than ourselves. That is really what being a man is all about right!?!?!
