Thought I would bring back this thread. I made Kale chips today. I spread olive oil on the kale then sprinkled it with nutritional yeast and parmesean cheese. I then baked them at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Not too bad for kale.
Made tacos tonight. Used lean ground beef, lowfat cheese and substituted plain lowfat greek yogurt for sour cream. Add lettuce, tomato and sauce and it was pretty good.
Just a side note-I read that PB and banana sandwiches were one of Elvis' favorite foods. From what I have read, he liked them fried and some versions have bacon.
I know plain Greek yogurt can definitely be hard to get down for some people with the tanginess. I like adding cinnamon and honey. I also find dipping chicken in honey to be pretty good as well. Broccoli raw with peanut butter is a go to on my cut whenever I crave sweets. Where would I be without peanut butter?
