Started my Get-Fit-b4-the-wedding Program...

Well thanks to the many threads and stickies...I have finally accomplished to get started in my getting fit and trim b4 the wedding mission.

I have started light but have targetted my diet mostly...

This is what I have done so far:
Eliminate my usual coffe with milk (Cuban style) with crackers and butter and replaced it with fruits, or oatmeal

I have my morning 30-min cardio about an hour after breakfast and then a protein shake

For Lunch it depends
Chicken Breast on Forman Grill and veggies
Tuna salad
or Chicken and a Baked potato (not loaded :( )

Then I will probably have a snack, either almonds or 5 crackers with cottage cheese or some fruit ... I would like to eat a protein bar everyonce in a while but I dont know which ones will be more suitable.

In the evening I ussually do my weight training. I started from my waist down Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and upper body Tuesday and Thursday. Sunday I plan to incorporate my Pilates or aerobics, or maybe swimming ....

I have assigned Saturday as my not-so-cheat-day. Since even though I will not be working out or pigging out, I dont have to be so stiff as to what I eat, but being concious still.

I have been considering using Yohimburn, since I have heard and read that it is good...but I might need some good advice as to where to buy it from. And also if you have any ideas as far as what I could add to the little fit plan I have started or if I should be doing anything else please let me know. Also I am taking 5-HTP at night before bed about 50mg, I was recommended that by someone at the gym any feedback on that would be greatly appreciated.

I just started working out and dieting on Monday, but I feel a lot more energized, stronger and relaxed, besides I feel like I am accomplishing something. I will see if I can post some pics of now and through the progress to see if this works...

Diet looks so so best feed back is if you did a log and posted what you ate. As for a cheat that is okay but limit it to a cheat meal not a full on cheat day. Take pics for sure they are the best motivation ever. I am not a fan of upper lower splits and don't see the benifit of hitting the muscle 3 times each a week but that is just my opnion.
 
How many times a day are you eating? I only see two meals - morning, and lunch. Oh, and then a tiny snack. Add about 3 more meals in there.

I would skip the breakfast 1 hour before cardio - just swap them. Cardio first, then breakfast. Breakfast also needs a protein in there. Fruit for breakfast is a bad idea, as is just oatmeal. Add some eggs. Save the protein shake for post weights, instead of post cardio.

Real food is 99.9% always better. Skip the protein bar, they are glorified candy bars, to be used only in a pinch. Good to have around in case there is NO SIGHT of food for hours, but not something to depend on daily.
 
DOnt worry scorpio girl...I am still here...but with the holidays and all this crazyness...I have not even had a chance to get near the computer.

But I can tell you that I have done some progress, the only day that I went a little overboard with the coke, pepsi and food was the 31st :p I can say that I ate like a pig :chomp:

But I will soon be posting my pics and the new pics I took...(before the 31st) they are starting to look different.

If you haven't already, start tracking your meals in fitday. You will be continuing this AFTER the wedding too....right?
