Started CKD diet, sharing my exp.!

Well this is my sixth day on a Keto diet (no carb up)

i feel pretty good relative to before.
i have increased confidence and self esteem (despite not knowing any actual figures)
i have a newfound love for water, 3 litres a day i guess im drinking (probably more), allways have a .6 L bottle on me.

So far ive eaten nothing but:

chicken
red meat
bacon
eggs
cheese
tuna
water

every day is just a variation of the above, crumcake you mentioned mayo ? is that zero carb ? if so thats great! tuna + mayo is really nice ^_^ ill buy some right away.

i still need to get the 6 smaller meals going, latley ive been having big teas as the chicken i buy is packed in 500G containers so i ususally eat that all in one sitting. But my next load of chicken will be individual breasts so i can load them into the freezer one by one.

Still looking for protien shakes / bars, and still after the flax.

And your right, being on this diet is great because you never feel really hungry, before i would get hungry and whack up 3 sandwiches, now i eat a slice of cheese =]

I would choose a "cleaner" ckd diet, but I have a hard time keeping flax oil down. Actually I have a hard time keeping any kind of oil or grease down. I am thinking about buying empty caps and pouring flax oil into them, that way I wouldn't have to worry about it coming back up. Currently I eat 4 eggs in the morning, 2 dogs in the afternoon, 1 hamburger at night with peanuts or cheese as a snack in between. I found out my dry mouth is due to the ECA and not the CKD, read on the ECA label "may cause dry mouth" :D. One thing is for damn sure, I am never doing this again, screw bulking if I am to be sick to my stomach for 10 weeks afterwards. The only thing that keeps me going is that every day I step on that scale it goes down, and everytime i do a pinch test its a little smaller. (I know I only supposed to do that once a week, but everyday I look flatter and just wanted to see where I am).

The only thing I am drinking is water, I never liked any of those zero calorie drinks (except Yobe Metabolic Enhancer, but that stuffs expensive).

Before anyone decides whether they do ckd due to my exp, keep in mind that I am a vegetarian as it is the only kind of diet I've ever been on that never made me sick. The reason I have fat to loose in the first place is because I eat a ton of carbs (loaf bread, unglazed donuts, muffins, blueberries, oranges, etc). During a clean bulking I only gained 2mm of fat on a pinch test around my waste, and I lost that and then some through CKD already.

Abrocket: I don't eat anything from 7am to 3pm, and its been fine for me. I just drink alot of water in between, perhaps eat a few peanuts as well.

advaik,

it's not the eating that i'm worried about, because i'll also be taking xenadrine that suppresses hunger so i won't start dying of hunger at 3pm in the afternoon. Actually, it's the water that's my worry. I mean, I'm gonna keep my lifestyle very plain in the daytime so I don't sweat too much and die of dehydration. Also, I plan to drink tons of water early in the morning and when I stop fasting at 6pm and onwards.

You think I can pull it off without drinking water from 6am to 6pm. Also, if i can, when would I do my workouts or cardioZ(if any).

Oh man, your vegitarian? No wonder you hate it LoL. I don't blame ya for that at all.

If some of ya'll are looking for good bars, go to Wal-Mart and pick up some Carb Solutions and some Atkin's Advantage. Low carbs (basically 2 grams) and i think they taste pretty good. Stick them in the fridge first. A lot of them are dry and crumbly, and some fridge time seems to solve that.

Also, don't feel like you have to eat all meat. Your hurtning yourself by not eating a few vegetables, and if nothing else, at least taking some supplements.

Don't make your body defiecent of vitamins like Vitamin C and Potassium just because you want to eat as few carbs as possible, and just eat meat.

Heck, i probably spend $30/month on supplements, and $70/month on protein bars, but its better than smoking or drinking or doing a lot of other things i could be.

CKD update:
Today my stomach didn't hurt as much as it normally does from the CKD diet. I think its because I actually ate the amount I was supposed, before I was eatting about 600-700 calories less than I supposed to. All my pain in my joints and muscles from working out seems to have gone down considerably. My joints are no longer cracking like crazy, but they still crack much louder than normal. I think today was the worst in terms of me being energized, the ECA stacks kept my body awake the entire day but my mind just wanted to go to bed. I actually had to get a friend to take notes for me in class since I couldn't keep up with the professor. I am now down 7lbs, and its still two days before the end of the first week. I seriously hope this is water weight I am losing. I decided to change "carb-up day" to "binge day," I read that on the first few weeks of a CKD diet you will benefit from binging on the carp up day, plus I am craving Cocoa Pepples like crazy :D.

Abrocket-

Not eatting for 12 hours will slow your metabolism, thats why I snack on peanuts throughout my 9 hours of fasting, it also prevents my stomach from making embarrasing "feed me" noises. I do my cardio and workout as soon as I get home at 3pm, since my stomach will be empty from not eatting for 9 hours. This is much better than doing it in the morning for me because I don't have to worry about pissing like crazy from 6am-3pm from drinking too much water to keep myself hydrated during workout. I usually buy an 8oz bottle water to drink from 6am-3pm, but sometimes I don't and the only side effect is my mouth tastes hot and sticky and my breath stinks (but of course it stinks anyways because of the CKD diet and not being able to chew any gum or mints). You should be able to get through 12 hours with little problem, my dry mouth has gone down alot now that I am used to the ECA. If you need brain power then I would suggest waiting until you take your finals. I dropped from a 98% avg to 90% avg. Its still an "A," but I find myself missing stupid things. An example is I failed to do simple math while balancing a formula in Bio Chemistry.

Update:
I decided to cheat today, I have a big state test today and want to do good on it. I ate around 60g-70g carbs this morning and right away noticed a BIG difference. My stomach pains went away as soon as I started eatting, and I woke up big time. I'm not gonna bother trying to get into ketosis just for one day since my carb up day is saturday, so I'll just stay out for 3 days. Not a good idea but this test is important. If I am still in ketosis somewhat when I get home today then I will stay in it until saturday, but thats unlikely since I'm sure 60g-70g of carbs is enough to kick me out.
