Squat Workout 7 Weeks Out! Iam Getting The Hang Of This Monolift Style.

It was a quick workout. But i am defintitly getting comfortable with the monolift. I did the following..

bar several sets
135x 10 3 sets
225 x 5 3 sets
315 x 5 2 sets
405 x 5
500 x 3
585 x 3
635 x 2
700 x 1

Felt pretty good, set ups were nice and easy. Will suit up in 3 weeks, so i am just getting ready for that weight wise. I think i could have doubled 700 pretty easy. Just dont wanna burn out or strain too hard. Even though blood was shootin everywhere! Tongiht it came out of my neck in the front...what the fuck is that?

Next week i will go 725 ish. Wanna test were iam with no suit. I need that for confidence. No assistance work the bitch in the daycare said my kid was in there for 2 hours. That fucked up alot. Usually they dont care. Its only one bitch though. Anyway will do some abs in the morning. And some stabulity training Jimmied deans got me doing.

It cool to see a commerial gym get a monolift too. They usually spend those thousands $ on crap like smith machines and leg abductors, flye machines etc.

Thats a good squat too, keep it up and you should be all set seven weeks from now.
 
Was this off a box? Either way those are big numbers. When you suit up you should easily be good for 800+. Not too shabby:) Do you like working out on the monolift? I've never tried one but plan on driving to Tulsa to try one there.

Off topic but how's your deadlift coming along?

Bro's this is a powerrack and the weight set on pins when i un rack my partners pull the pins out. I am sorry i mentioned that awhile back. I wish we had the real deal. I seen it on jessekellum.com and that is what he does. And since my patella was acting up from re reacking this has helped. Problem is at a meet i try to use the monolift with no experience with it and always mess up bad. So i am getting used to up and squatting. At first it was too weird. But i love it now.

I am free squatting right now. I have too. As much as i like box squatting i feel a transition period is amust for me. So i wll hit boxes after the meet.

Ya knwo what about my deadlift i havent pulled in awhile, just that quick 550 a month or so back but i feel like it is really coming along. I am training my deadlift 100% westside and my pulling muscles have got to be strong. My reverse hyper weight is really up. My good mornings are way up. my stiff legged is up too. My weak link which is grip as been trained but not tested. If it stays in tac i think i can pull a 575 or so. One thing i gaurantee is this year my deadlift wil come dam close to my bench.

The bitch in the daycare is 8 months pregnant and mean as a fuckin snake! All the other girls in there dont care how long i leave them in there for. She is almost 8 yrs old. My other is 10. She usually stays home though. One down fall of a commercial gym i guess!
 
Jay you got no worriies. You will pull close to 700 in june if yu are hittin up the hyper like you say. fI know for a fact that a 650 will fal like nothin'. Hppefully in may i can train with ya'll and get some extra ispiration. YOUR MONEY DUDE , MONEY. (swingers)
 
Pull 700? I think you mean 600. Bro 600 is my goal by the end of the year. Or at least this year. But ...i am happy with that. I amno puller and have never cared about it, but even though a good deadlifter will shut me down in a meet, i do have 2 aces Squat and bench.

I will bench 700 long before i pull it. And we look forward to your return to Golds house of pain! Lets do it!
