Chocolate milk postworkout...I still don't get it, but all sorts of athletic trainers and coaches are still repping it. H O W? That's like, simple sugar and 8 grams of milk protein?! Wooptie Doo in my opinion.

I guess it's a little protien and an insulin spike from the surgar. Obviously there are better alternatives.

i sometimes use milk for my post w/o. i drink 16oz of skim. but i only waid 1/2 hour to 45mins before my next meal. that is just to reverse catabolism on the way home. it works.

WMS and Whey Isolate is THE combo if you ask me.

Chocolate Milk is crap if you ask me. Fat, sugar and moderate protein just doesn't cut it.

i too believe WPI with dextrose is a better option

but - At times chocolate milk just does the job of preventing the cetabolism further till you take a good solid meal after reaching home.
:coffee:

well chocolate also has antioxidants wich you burn off and deplete when you work out, so what i do is that with my post workout protien i usually through some hersheys syrup in there make sure its the one with the extra antioxidants :)
