Sofa, what's your current split?

I agree with Sofa on this one. I think you guys are missunderstanding him. Everyone I know that has had any sort of muscular injury, regardless if it needs surgery to be repaired or not, goes through rehab. Not balls to the wall "hurt yourself again" training, but you got to keep that muscle moving so it heals properly. Most rehab is painful. Its all part of the game.

Like the spilt, but I'd make a switch....too much consecutive tri and shoulder work.....move legs to give them a break. Possibly switch Legs and shoulders or chest.....just a thought

Exactly. It is all about how you get back into it.

I did back on Saturday. I didn't go straight for heavy deads or yank four plates for weighted pullups.

I dropped deads entirely... and went over to the Hammer pulldown machine instead of pullups... started with just 25 lbs plates... then inched up 25 lbs every set till my shoulder started to hurt... then stopped progressing the weight.

Then I went to barbell rows. I started with only 135 lbs on the bar... then slowly worked up till the pain started.

Same with one armed dumbell rows and pulldowns.

You work it... you don't crush it.

I like your split too, I think i might try it. Does training 5 days straight ever wear you out?

in season i go 7 days a week with practicwe and 3-4 with lifting, 5 days of just lifting is a cake walk
