I went into a store to buy protein bars, and shakes...I got so dizzy from all the choice of shakes, bars, whey, creating, etc etc, I left without buying anything! In fact I couldn't wait to get out of there!

I wish I could just have a grocery list of things to buy with brand names, qty etc etc... *sigh*

I don't buy protien bars anymore. You're right - there are way to many choices, and most all of them have way to much sugar to begin with. (I'm trying to stay as natural as I can on my diet.)

I bet someone here has a recipe for home made protien bars. Anyone?

I personally stay away from protein bars or meal bars. I prefer and recommend the usage of whole foods and solid nutrient sources. I supplement with protein only: I use Penta Pro Protein from Proteinfactory.com. I purchase the chocolate penta pro sweetened with splenda: a blend of 5 different protein sources!
