Had Saturday all set a side for big day at gym.
Had my food on point, and hydration was solid. Just about to head to gym when phone rang.
Dad was headed to hospital. Thank goodness I had not taken my pre work out!
Spent the whole day at hospital with him.
Caught up on sleep while he was gone for testing.
He came home after lots of test.
Missed my big gym day but family first.
Sunday I tried again. Got in a good work out but just didn’t go as planned.
Some days it just doesn’t hit right.
Shoulder was acting up so I stayed off it.
Don’t get me wrong. Still tore up some arms today but just not the original game plan.
At my age some day just can’t force it!

Thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts of my dad.
My parents are both 93 and still living together. They are old and falling apart fast.
However I am still blessed that they are still alive.
My older sister and I do the best we can to take care of them.
Dad went back in today with same issue. Finally got the doctors on board to move his surgery forward to help relief his problem.

I got to go to gym today and work out with my trainer. He kicked my ass.
Plus I go to a gym in a warehouse with no ac. Was 100 outside.
I left a puddle of sweat everywhere I went.
Had to rest a bit before driving home.
I freaking loved it. I am a glutton for punishment.

You guys rock with all the support you give people!!!!

People all think gym rats are a bunch of meat heads.
Well the definition of meat head is “ an amazing person who enjoys the gym life.

I am still here and still hitting the gym hard and regular.
Life has been crazy busy. So I have not posted to my log.
Diet is good but have decided to add in more food.
Weight is not going up or down. Still around the 200-205 area.
Was cutting out on meals and that is dumb on my part. I know I can eat a few more calories. But I have to eat more regular.
My meal timing has been for shit and that is cause big swings.
Not good. And not good for sugar levels etc….
I have just been skipping meals cause not hungry. Not skipping enough to call it fasting.
I know better than this. I know my body well enough to realize that it doesn’t work for me. I need to eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. 6 oz of protein and maybe cup of rice and veggies with som fats.

Gonna shoot for 275 gram protein, 200 carbs and about 40-50 fat.
Those are rough numbers I will dial this in. That makes me feel better and body works better.
I just have to stop being a pussy and do it.
